About the Project.

Feeding the mouths of over 650 children for lunchtime and after school clubs.

This school is a happy, vibrant and inclusive community school, and our Radish team is passionate in the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of school life. The school nurtures and inspires children to develop confidence and resilience, in an environment where all efforts are valued and children flourish.

Our Radish on-site team of nine ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible overseeing two lunch sittings.

The school has evolved through the years, firstly in growth (the team now serves upwards of 650 meals per day), and secondly due to external factors such as the Government’s introduction of Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM). Our team has also seen a great deal of change in the school dining experience over this period, namely in the quality of food on offer.

Recently, the school took over the provision of the after school club. Our Radish team now prepares meals for these children in addition to her daytime opportunities, and the club has seen an upsurge in popularity – thanks in part to the tasty food on offer! The Junior year group asked for a healthy tuck shop option, which Radish discussed and delivered. Now, there are healthy snacks available to the children at break time.
